Information we receive
Vercel provides aggregate site analytics and basic request logs. If you submit, sponsor, purchase, or contact us, we receive the details you enter, a request reference, and operational metadata needed for spam prevention and fulfillment. Stripe processes payment details; Machineworthy does not receive full card numbers.
How we use it
We use information to review nominations, respond to requests, prevent abuse, fulfill claimed profiles or sponsorships, maintain billing records, and understand which directory features are useful. We do not sell personal information.
Processors
Machineworthy uses Vercel for hosting and analytics, Upstash for rate limiting and durable intake or fulfillment state, Telegram for limited operational alerts, and Stripe when checkout is active. External product links take you to third parties with their own policies.
Retention
Raw contact, nomination, and sponsorship inquiries are retained for up to 180 days. Billing and entitlement records may be retained for the active relationship and up to 400 days after the latest billing event, unless a longer period is legally required. Aggregate analytics may be retained by the processor under its policy.
Your choices
You may request access, correction, or deletion through the contact form. We may retain limited records where required for security, billing, disputes, or law. Browser controls can limit cookies or analytics.
Children
Machineworthy is a business discovery service and is not directed to children under 13.
