What gets listed
Machineworthy covers AI-native tools, websites, open-source projects, and companies with a concrete job, a useful distinction, and an official source we can inspect. A submission is a nomination, not a purchase or guarantee of inclusion.
What desk-reviewed means
We checked official product, documentation, repository, release, or pricing sources and recorded material caveats we found. Desk review does not mean hands-on testing, security certification, endorsement, or verification of every first-party performance claim.
Editorial signals
The three-to-five scale is a discovery signal based on usefulness, differentiation, evidence, maturity, and potential time or cost savings. Five means exceptional signal, four means strong signal, and three means worth watching. The rubric is explained on the methodology page.
Freshness and corrections
“Added” is publication history. “Sources checked” is the most recent recorded desk review. Products change; source links can go stale. Send a correction with supporting evidence through contact. We may update, lower, annotate, or remove a listing.
Advertising and claimed profiles
Paid placements are labeled “Ad — paid placement.” Payment never changes an editorial signal or guarantees favorable coverage. A claimed profile means ownership was verified; it does not mean Machineworthy endorses the product. Sponsors may supply factual materials, but editorial wording and score remain ours.
Conflicts and transparency
If Machineworthy or its operator has a material financial relationship with a listed company beyond ordinary advertising, the relationship should be disclosed on the relevant surface. Editorial inclusion cannot be purchased.
